How Organisations Could Use Zeno Life Plan

Zeno Life Plan is available to organisations, and formal case studies will be published, with partner consent, as deployments develop. Until then, the examples below show how the method and the aggregated organisation-level view could be used.

Example 1 — illustrative

Shaping learning and development planning

An organisation could offer Zeno Life Plan to a department so that each person builds a private Life Plan they own. Ahead of setting the annual learning and development plan, the People team could look at the Employer App's aggregated, organisation-level view — the development themes people have chosen to record — shown only above a minimum group size. Rather than starting from last year's training data alone, the team could also take account of the directions people have set down for themselves. Individual Life Plans remain inaccessible to the organisation throughout.

Example 2 — illustrative

Comparing direction across functions

A People or Talent leader could use the aggregated view to see how development priorities differ across functions or locations — again, only as group-level patterns above a minimum group size, never as individual records. This could help target support, mentoring or internal-mobility conversations where interest is concentrated, without any manager reading an individual's plan. The view is published periodically, as snapshots, rather than as a live feed.

Example 3 — illustrative

Adapting the method for a school or youth setting

Because the Zeno methodology is a structured, four-step process, an organisation or school could offer an age-appropriate version to young people as part of a development or philanthropy initiative (see our youth programmes). Here the value is primarily to the individual — a written plan they keep — with any organisational view handled under the same aggregation and privacy design.

What these examples share

The same boundary in every case

In every example: the Life Plan is built for the individual first; the organisation may gain an additional, aggregated perspective; indicators are shown only above a minimum group size; individual Life Plans are inaccessible to employers; and processing is on a lawful, documented basis (see the Trust Centre). None of the above describes an actual customer.

The quickest way to understand the difference is to see the employee experience and the aggregated employer view side by side. The demo uses sample data.
